About Us
Swallow Badminton Club is a Saturday morning club that has been in operation at the Ottawa Adult High School since the mid-1970's. We are affiliated with the Ottawa District Badminton Association (ODBA) and hence, members can participate in all Ontario Badminton Association (OBA) sanctioned tournaments.
There are a number of members who have been part of the club for many years. About half of our members play at an intermediate level. Our members know each other by a first-name basis. We emphasize recreational games and we are glad to share and offer valuable experience and assistance.
Goals and Objectives
* We emphasize the social aspect of the game;

* We welcome young and old players;

* We welcome players of all levels;

* We organize special club events for Christmas and Lunar Calendar New Year celebrations; and

* We will accept up to 45 members for the 2022 - 2023 season.

Not sure this club is right for you? Drop-in as a guest player and if you decide to join, your guest fees from your last two visits will be credited towards your membership fees (if space is available).
